EBIT
What is it? Earnings before interest and taxes is a measure of a companys earnings from ongoing operations. It does not include income and expenditures from one-off, non-recurring or discontinued business. Creditors monitor EBIT more closely if a company records minimal depreciation and amortization activities as it represents the total funds available to pay off creditors. It is also referred to as operating profit.Added By: Lucas
